And She Glows
Honey glistens in the crisp morning air,
Earth’s beautiful arms outstretched to the sun,
Jasmine and vanilla close the eyes to dream,
Gossamer wings brush the soul.
Ripples on a pond ever flowing,
Crystalline webs shiver in the breeze,
Clouds streak the sky, dancing with the light,
Elysium sways and the heart soars.
Nature smiles and the druids do laugh,
Flames lick the spires of ice,
Lightening strikes in globes of glass,
He is knelt at beauty’s temple.
Trade his life for something more,
Footsteps across the water,
Beauty can be bested now,
She is his.
Strength and honor he holds dear,
No more pride; No more questions,
Heaven speaks the symphony,
And she glows a light born of the angels.
He is hers.
