Eyes of Joy
They look upon the weeping rose,
Caressing the shimmering dew.
They witness the dove’s purity,
Hope gliding on wings of Iccarrus.
They close to the passion of the warm mist,
As it kisses the solemn sea.
A gleeful glint as they marvel,
At mountains pontificating to the land.
Strikes a mournful gaze do they,
While the sun descends to its slumber.
Sweet sight renewed,
For stars dance to the dark symphony.
They see through him,
Soul born of the deepest regret.
Lifting his heavy heart aloft,
Into a bouquet of sunbeams.
When looked upon by eyes of love,
Fate shoots a knowing wink.
When eyes of Angels glance your way,
Chance bows to Destiny’s joy.
