J  David Photography - I Believe She Is

I Believe She Is

She lives in a rose colored world,

Glorious strokes on a wanting canvass.

Wings of seraphim are unfurled,

Shielding the flower to the last.

Softness akin to a puppies ear,

Glint of moonbeam in brown eyes.

Sprite’s magic her smile holds dear.

Lightening strikes to times surprise.

Love is real, she is Destiny’s friend,

Mischievous sisters they are.

Passion and beauty in the end,

Dance to the laughter of the stars.

A cacophony of horns sings of the rage,

Black clouds loom over silver fields.

A scarlet raven sits silent in a cage,

Fate’s decision in her talon she wields.

Winds of change beckon her,

Casting fear into the abyss.

Doubt creeps in minds to ever stir,

Feelings of solitude and emptiness.

The light she is begins to dim,

Cries of pain roll on the desperate sea.

Her song of sorrow sung to him,

Strings of harps hum sweet agony.

The stage is set, players excite,

Eyes of heaven affix a joyous gaze.

Twirls the soul to music in the night,

Glowing, rapturous hearts ablaze.

As the light shone on her gossamer wings,

The omnipotence of love was surely his,

Is she the answer to the suffering?

I believe…Oh God, I believe she is.
